Are you a graduate admissions chair, or do you know someone who is? Please consider having your department's graduate admissions chair join the following opportunity:

In support of AAS’s commitment to improving diversity and inclusion in astronomy graduate education, which forms a part of AAS’s 2021–2026 Strategic Plan, we are hosting an invite-only workshop and convening for leaders in graduate astronomy education on Sunday, 9 June 2024 in conjunction with the 244th meeting of the AAS in Madison, Wisconsin.

Who: Admissions Chairs of Graduate Astronomy Programs (and other leaders in astronomy graduate admissions and education, as space allows)

When: Sunday, 9 June 2024, 10 am – 3 pm, in conjunction with the 244th meeting of the AAS

Where: Madison, WI, at the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace

What: A convening and workshop titled “Designing, Implementing, and Refining Equitable Evaluation Rubrics,” facilitated by a team of experts from University of Southern California’s Equity in Graduate Education Resource Center.
