We are pleased to announce the 8th KIAS Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation, to be held from 4th November to 9th November 2018 at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), Seoul.
Our understanding of the distribution of matter in the Universe has made rapid progress in recent years. Increasingly sophisticated simulations on both small and large scales, coupled with high-quality galaxy data has introduced a new era of precision cosmology. The aim of this workshop is to review the latest theoretical, computational and observational advances in cosmology and large-scale structure, and to promote collaboration between specialists in different fields.
Topics to be discussed during the workshop include
- Large Scale Structure
- Modern Computational Techniques in Cosmology
- Early Universe
- Simulations
- Evolution of Galaxies
The conference will be held on campus at KIAS, in a vibrant suburb of Seoul close to the city center.
