Spark: The AAS Education Newsletter
Spark is the AAS education newsletter, published electronically as a PDF that you can read on your computer or mobile device or print out and read offline. It consists primarily of original articles about or related to the education programs and activities of the AAS and its members.
From time to time reprinted articles on astronomy education topics are also published. Contributions such as editorial columns, articles, and letters to the editor are welcome from anyone.
Spark is published twice per year, usually around the time of the January and June AAS meetings.
Subscribe to Spark
We don't print and mail Spark anymore, so it's no longer necessary to subscribe in the traditional sense. Most AAS members will learn about the publication of a new issue via a notice on our website and/or an email from the AAS Executive Office. Issues will be available for free downloading from the RESOURCES section of this webpage (see below).
