AAS 235 Doxsey Prize Judges Needed!

Tuesday, October 8, 2019 - 15:30

With the regular abstract deadline behind us for the 235th AAS meeting in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, 4-8 January 2020, it’s time to choose this year’s Doxsey Prize winners, which means we also need Doxsey Prize judges! If you’re a full member of the AAS and are willing to review and rank the ~100 dissertation abstracts that are generally entered into each year’s competition, please email Gina Brissenden by Thursday, 17 October. Judges will have time to read abstracts before the final judging takes place in late October/early November via a short conference call.

The AAS Rodger Doxsey Travel Prize provides graduate students or postdocs within one year (either side) of receipt of their PhD a monetary prize to enable the oral presentation of their dissertation research at a winter meeting of the AAS.
