In-Person vs. Online

Although these policies were written with an in-person conference in mind, they apply equally to interactions that might take place online. This includes via email, social media, real-time chat, virtual exhibits, and webinars or other forms of interaction. It is the behavior, not the mode in which they take place, that is prohibited. Online norms of behavior should meet or exceed expected in-person behavior.
