Depending on the number of submissions, the Science Organizing Committee may need to assign some abstracts to Poster presentation. In such a case, they will use the following rubric to evaluate abstracts:
Abstract Rubric
Criteria | Considerations | Out of | Score |
---|---|---|---|
Impact on field | How much does this move the field forward? e.g. in providing new knowledge foundations? Or in its potential as a connector or catalyst for other areas or further work? | 5 | |
Originality | How unique is the contribution? In discovery? Or technique innovation? | 5 |
- Submitted abstracts will be rated from 1-5 in both of the categories
- Additionally, the SOC will seek to achieve balance in research topics and in career stages.
Please note the deadline for creating/editing abstracts is Tuesday, 28 February. Abstract confirmation letters will be sent on Thursday, 16 March.
If you have questions about submission or have login difficulties, please contact Sherrie Brown.
