The Graduate School and Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Fair will be held on Sunday, 4 June, 5:30 – 7:00 pm. There were 56 participating institutions at the winter AAS meeting in Seattle, January 2023. An estimated 700 graduate and undergraduate students attended.

Sponsors have the unique opportunity to highlight their graduate-school or REU program and recruit new students.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of our AAS242 Grad School & REU Fair, please complete this application by 4 May 2023.

As a sponsor, you will receive:

• 8’ skirted table to display brochures and handouts
• 8’ bulletin board to hang banners or posters
• Access to the Student Pavilion
• Share a space to display brochures, posters, and handouts in the Student Pavilion
• Opportunity to self-organize a 15-30 minute face-to-face meeting with potential students

The Student Pavilion, located in our Exhibit Hall, is designed for casual networking among students, their peers, and mentors. We will provide display stations for you to promote your programs. You are welcome to arrange meetings with potential candidates.

The cost for sponsorship is $555. Participating in this student-focused program is a great way to increase your exposure at the AAS summer meeting.

We encourage institutions to bring a giveaway to raffle off to the students. Some ideas include school t-shirts, fanny packs, mugs, etc. Drawings are the responsibility of the institution.
