AAS 239 Press Conferences
We are pleased to announce that despite the cancellation of the AAS 239 meeting, we will be going forward with the AAS 239 press conferences in a virtual format.
We will keep to the original schedule, hosting press conferences live online each morning and afternoon, Monday, 10 January, through Thursday, 13 January, to showcase some of the most exciting recent astronomical discoveries. The hour-long press conferences will be held at 10:15 am MT (12:15 pm ET) and 2:15 pm MT (4:15 pm ET) daily, with an extra briefing at 12:15 pm MT (2:15 pm ET) on Tuesday, 11 January.
The briefings will be live-streamed on Zoom for virtual meeting participation, and they will also be live-streamed on the AAS Press Office YouTube channel (where you will not be able to ask questions; to do that, you will need to participate via Zoom) and archived there.
